Alumni Class Reflections
In honor of their 50th Reunions, some members of the School of Medicine and Dentistry Classes of 1954 and 1961 chose to write reflections about their medical school experience and its impact on their lives, career and medicine. The essays contain a variety of content ranging from personal and professional goals, changes in medicine and the meaning of a career in medicine. In addition, all the essays together emphasize the special value of the Rochester experience. The following pages contain experiences from a diverse background and stand alone as a narrative of the author’s own story.
