Directions to the University of Rochester Medical Center

• From the south:

  Take I-390 North; where I-390 and I-590 split, keep left and remain on I-390. Take the next exit (NY15A, E Henrietta Road) and turn right onto East Henrietta Rd. There will be a fork in the road at about the third traffic light; bear left here. About .25 mi ahead is an intersection. Make the soft right onto Mt. Hope Avenue. Take the next left onto Elmwood Avenue. Continue on Elmwood Avenue for approximately one-third of a mile, and then turn left into the hospital entrance and park in the garage.

• From the west:

  Take the New York State Thruway, I-90 to Exit 47. Take I-490 East to I-390 South to Exit 17. Turn left onto Scottsville Road, bear right onto Elmwood Avenue and proceed across the bridge over the Genesee River. Turn right at the third light into the Medical Center main entrance. Park in the garage.

• From the east:

  Take the New York State Thruway, I-90 to Exit 46. Take I-390 North and proceed as from the south.

• From Cornell University:

  Rte 89 N to Rte 318; Rte 318 To Rte 414; Rte 414 to I-90 W NYS Thruway. Take Exit 46 to I-390 North; proceed as from the south.

• From southern Ontario and Niagara Falls:

  From the US border take I-190 South to I-290 after the second long bridge. This turn is easy to miss. Take I-290 to I-90 East, following signs toward Albany. Proceed as from the west.
