Research Interests

My research interests include statistical and mathematical computing in biomedical research, viral dynamics modeling, clinical trial simulation, and biomedical informatics. Recently I have worked on mathematical models and statistical methods for viral dynamics and developed a Web-based tool in ASP.NET for a viral fitness test.

Before joining the University of Rochester in 2004, I had several years experience in software design and development with major companies like Johnson & Johnson, and Lucent. Now I am also the data management director for Rochester Program for Biodefense of Immune-compromised Populations and the biocomputing/bioinformatics director for Rochester Immune Modeling Center for Biodefense, two NIH-funded centers devoted to immunological researches.
