PRINTING Connecting Everyone in the department should have access to all printers on their PCs. If, for some reason, you are disconnected or delete a printer off of your PC accidentally you can connect back to that printer rather easily. Click on the Start button --> Settings --> Printers --> Add Printer. This will launch the Add Printer Wizard which will guide you through the rest of the printer setup process. 1. After the Add Printer Wizard Welcome window comes up click on the Next button. 2. Select Network printer and click on Next button. Do not fill in a name but simply click Next to browse for the printer you want to add. 3. The next window should show you the list of possible printers to add. If not, make sure you are looking at the BIOSTATS domain under the NEPTUNE server. 4. Select the printer you want and click the next button. It will then ask you if you would like this printer to be your default printer. Answer your preference and select OK. That's it! |
