To register as a conference participant you must be (a) a current MACH 2010 student, or (b) an invited graduate student from the University of Rochester, or (c) an other formally invited guest. Permission to participate in the conference can be given only by the MACH 2010 program director Tim Dye. If you meet these requirements you may register and indicate your preferred method of travel by contacting the MACH 2010 Fall Conference Coordinator, Barbara Suter (barbara_suter@urmc.rochester.edu) at (585) 273-2591.
Current MACH 2010 students who register for the conference are entitled to reimbursement or prepayment (in the case of some travel) of any expenses they incur as a result of (a) traveling to and from the conference, (b) any meals consumed during the conference, and (c) staying at the conference venue hotel (Hawthorn Suites Syracuse). The MACH 2010 staff would like to take this opportunity to remind all participants that, because we are a Federally funded project, we are unable to defray the costs of any alcoholic beverages purchased during your stay.
Any un-prepaid expenses (lodging, travel, food) incurred during the conference should be submitted to Karen Green at the address provided below. If your bills total less than $25 you may e-mail or fax your reimbursement request to her, however any reimbursements in excess of $25 must be presented in writing with all supporting receipts.
