Continuing Professional Education (CEU/CME Credits)
Physicians (CME Credits):
The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is accredited
by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide
continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Rochester
School of Medicine and Dentistry designates this educational activity
for a maximum of 80 hours in Category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's
Recognition Award.
Nurses (CEU Credits):
The University of Rochester Medical Center/Strong Memorial Hospital
and Strong Health Affiliates is accredited as a provider of continuing
education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's
Commission on Accreditation. The University of Rochester School of
Medicine and Dentistry designates this educational activity for a
maximum of 84 credit hours. CEu activity code 94544.
Each physician or nurse should claim only those hours of credit that
he/she actually spent in the activity.
Module Evaluations:
Any student seeking academic credit for their participation in MACH
2010 is required to fill out and submit a supplemental evaluation
form for each module they complete. Unlike the module evaluations,
which are anonymous and general in scope, the CEU / CME evaluations
directly address the stated goals of each module. Each CEU / CME evaluation
should be printed, filled out, and returned by fax or mail to Karen
Green (see contact page)
