Help Area Topic : Navigating in MACH 2010
You'll notice that the left hand side of this page,
and every other MACH 2010 page, bears a list of links which you may
use to move around within the course. The list is divided into two
sections by a horizontal line.
The top half of this list appears on every page and
gives you access to all the general functions of MACH 2010. These
are:
Public Home

site. This is the site where you originally registered for the course
and contains general program information and tips for logging into
the secure course site.
Course Home

Start Over
This link will, like the Course Home link, return you
to the MACH 2010 course home page. If at any point you get lost
in the course this link will return you to square one.
The bottom half of the list (below the second horizontal line) changes
depending upon the part of the course your are currently in. For instance,
since you are now in the Help Area of the MACH 2010 course, you'll
notice that the bottom half of the navigation bar contains links to
different Help Area subsections.
Similarly, if you were on one of the pages from module one, you would
see links to take you to the different subsections of module one (pretest,
homework, web work, project,...). In addition to the links in the
left hand sidebar each module Home Page contains a navigation bar
graphic similar to that shown below (hold your pointer over different
sections of this graphic to learn more). The graphic navigation bar
and the links in the left margin have the same function.
