MACH 2010

Review : Project

In the past, problems with network service and computer use have been our number one category of student-reported problems. While we have attempted to make our system and coursework as accessible as possible many of the problems we have encountered do not originate on our end. Problems relating to your computer, your local network, and your local network's interface with the Internet are frequently beyond the troubleshooting means of MACH 2010 Technical Support. As a result it will likely be necessary for you to interact with the person responsible for IT or networking at your workplace.

As an ice-breaker exercise (and to collect some important information) we suggest you ask them the following questions and write down the responses. The answers will help MACH 2010 Technical Support solve any future problems more rapidly and help us foresee potential problems.

Can I install new programs on my computer?
(If the answer is NO please contact MACH Technical Support)
