Module Seven : Home

In the past six modules we have dealt almost exclusively with the collection and use of maternal and child health data for programmatic purposes. In Module Seven you will begin to learn about the contribution of MCH data to the policy-making process.

Through completion of Module Seven students will learn:

1. What policy is and how it can impact practice
2. The 3 stages of the policy cycle and where data might contribute to new policy formation
3. The 4 steps to policy change
4. The uses of data for policy reform
5. How to identify key policy makers
