Module Six : Web Work

The Module Six Web Work assignment is to download, watch, and comment on 2 short video clips. To view these clips you must have either Windows Media Player or the Apple QuickTime Player installed on your computer. Information for obtaining and installing these applications is available below. Since these clips are somewhat large they may take several minutes to download if you have a slower Internet connection.

Getting the Apple QuickTime Player
The free version of Apple's QuickTime player is currently available for Windows and Macintosh operating system. To download a copy from the Apple web site please follow the link below,

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

Instructions for downloading and installing this software are provided toward the bottom of the QT download page. As with all software installations please be sure (a) you do not already have the required software, (b) you are authorized to install new software on the computer you are using, and (c) that all anti-virus software is turned off.

Getting the Windows Media Player
Though the Windows Media Player is generally less format friendly and less secure than the QuickTime Player most PC computers come with this application pre-installed. If you already have a copy of Windows Media Player you may elect to use this rather than downloading and installing the QuickTime Player. Updated versions of this software can obtained from the Microsoft main web site or from the backup CDs which were shipped with your computer.
