Module Four : Readings

Each chapter in the MACH 2010 course text From Data to Action contains a discussion of data quality issues. For Module Four you will read the chapter "Fetal Deaths" by J. Gaudino, D.L. Hoyert, M.F. MacDorman, J.A. Gazmararian, M.M. Adams, and J.L. Kiely in: the CDC's From Data to Action (1995). This chapter discusses the particularly relevant situation of data quality in fetal death ascertainment. Pay specific attention to the section on data quality as this is the primary focus of this module.
