Module Three : Home

Now that you are familiar with the purposes of MCH data analysis and how to transform a research concept into a measurable variable we now introduce the basics of descriptive data analysis. In Module Three you will build upon work from previous modules and actually begin calculating some simple statistics.

Through completion of this module, students will learn to:

1. Understand three different levels of analysis
2. Describe how analysis is specific to the type of variable analyzed
3. Calculate percents and means
4. Create a data entry scheme in Epi Info
