University of Rochester Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Project
The Univserity of Rochester Medical Center has started a Public Access Defibrillation project. Currently there are 17 Phillips Medical FRx AEDs placed through the Medical Center. There are 8 on the ground floor, 6 on the first floor, 2 in the Medical Research Building and 1 on the second floor of the School of Medicine and Dentistry. For training in CPR and the use of AEDs, you can either contact the Office For Educational Resources, Nursing Education or your local Fire Department or Ambulance Service.
