What access do students have to email?

Email access if provided to all medical students though Miner Library. Requests can be made online at http://www.urmc.rochester.edu/Miner/Comp/email.html

Are there limitations that I should know about when emailing students information?

Every student has a maximum amount of information on the server capped at 10 megabytes, and most students probably use a fair amount of that for email. While there is no technical limitation as to what can be moved around, the student will get ""over quota"" messages if the combined content of their folder exceeds 10 megabytes.

What other computer resources are available to students at the Medical Center?

Is there a global address list that can be used to contact all students in one class at the same time?

Yes, however, please contact the registrar's office to obtain this information. This information is not generally made available to the public to avoid misuse and the sharing of this information with outside organizations.
