Clinical Studies

Clinical Studies are research studies designed to test the safety and efficacy of a drug. Most clinical studies are financially sponsored by the pharmaceutical company that has developed the study drug. Specific protocols (research plans) are developed for each clinical study. The research is supervised and heavily regulated by the Food and Drug Administrations, Institutional Review Boards and by the Office for Human Research Protections.

Currently Dr. James Hadley is involved in clinical trials related to studying safety and efficacy of a specific antibiotic used to treat Chronic Rhinosinusitis, Acute Rhinosinusitis, and Acute Otitis Media.

Current Clinical Studies Available:

Protocol 11566
Prospective, Multicenter, Randomized Double Blind, Placebo controlled Trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Moxifloxacin 400mg QD for 5 days vs. Placebo in the treatment of Acute Bacterial Sinusitis.

Safety and Efficacy of Topical Moxidex Otic solution in the treatment of acute otitis media with otorrhea through Tympanostomy Tubes.
