*The six weeks of SMH general medicine experience in the PGY-3 year includes two weeks of general medicine consultation.
**Only during the PGY-1 year are there required blocks of ambulatory general medicine. However, upper-level residents often use blocks of their elective time for additional experience in ambulatory general medicine.
