Proposal Format

  1. Title of project
  2. Investigators (your name, mentor's name, and any other major participants)
  3. Abstract (briefly describe the project)
  4. Specific aims of project (briefly outline the intent of the project)
  5. Backround and significance (briefly outline any relevant backround, and state the importance of your proposal)
  6. Experimental design and methods (briefly discuss the design and procedures to be used)

Proposals should be brief (one or two pages), and should be submitted to Dr. John Grable. For those residents interested in the research option, proposals can be submitted at the end of the two-week PGY-1 research rotation or before starting the PGY-2 rotation.
