Vacation and Time-Off
- Four weeks vacation yearly (not in one block).
- Vacations are taken during ER and Ambulatory blocks for interns and during elective blocks for residents.
- Residents get one in seven days off during inpatient rotations, when averaged over a four-week period.
- On elective rotations, days off are variable.
- Residents get few hours of in-house call and most weekends off.
