Chief ResidentsThere are three PL-4 Senior Chief Residents and one Ambulatory Senior Chief Resident who rotate between Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong and Rochester General Hospital. They have junior faculty appointments and are directly responsible to the Chair of the Department for all house officer teaching and patient care activities. Their functions include coordinating activities of the housestaff with those of the faculty and other professional staff. They are chief administrators for all housestaff activities, acting as housestaff advocates, counselors, and instructors.
