Applicant Information

All applications for the Pediatric Neurology Residency Program at the University of Rochester must be submitted through the SF Match program sponsored by the Child Neurology Society (CNS) and the Professors of Child Neurology (PCN).

For more information about SF Match, call 415-447-0350 or email: help@sfmatch.org.

The goal is to coordinate the PGY-3 appointments for Child Neurology programs and relieve the pressure on applicants and program directors resulting from early appointments and uncoordinated appointment dates, serving to place both US Medical School Seniors and residents with advanced standing into Child Neurology.

For US Seniors, this program will supplement the matching services of the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) Pediatrics Match. It is timed to allow US Senior applicants to know their PGY-3 placement in Child Neurology before they submit their rank list for PGY-1 choices for prerequisite training.

SF Match requires you to complete an online CAS (Central Application Service) application which includes providing a personal statement, three letters of reference, your medical school transcript, and USMLE scores for Steps 1 and 2. Please also provide us with a Curriculum Vitae and a personal photograph at the time of the interview.
