Applicant Information

The Child Neurology/NDD match moved from the SF Match system to the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) main residency match. During this transition from SF Match to NRMP, the AUPN will handle the 2012 applications. Applications are now being accepted by AUPN.  All applications for the Pediatric Neurology Residency Program at the University of Rochester must be submitted through the AUPN. For more information about the Child Neurology/NDD match call AUPN at 952-545-6724 or email: childneurologymatch@llmsi.com or website at: www.aupn.org.

The goal is to coordinate the PGY-3 appointments for Child Neurology programs and relieve the pressure on applicants and program directors resulting from early appointments and uncoordinated appointment dates, serving to place both US Medical School Seniors and residents with advanced standing into Child Neurology.

For US Seniors, this program will supplement the matching services of the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) Pediatrics Match. It is timed to allow US Senior applicants to know their PGY-3 placement in Child Neurology before they submit their rank list for PGY-1 choices for prerequisite training.

The AUPN application information and documents can be found on their website: www.aupn.org which includes providing a personal statement, three letters of reference, your medical school transcript, and USMLE scores for Steps 1 and 2. Please also provide us with a Curriculum Vitae and personal photograph.
