Program StrengthsMost of our full-time, multi-disciplinary faculty members are fellowship-trained—which allows for an in-depth educational experience in the major disciplines within plastic surgery. URMC’s Plastic Surgery Residency Program, as well as the The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, are recognized for their ongoing academic contribution to the scientific literature in plastic surgery. This includes regular participation in the academic programs at national meetings and the submission of publications in plastic surgery peer-reviewed journals. As part of the program, trainees are not only exposed to a variety of clinical research—they are encouraged to become involved in it, and the program structure reflects this emphasis. |
