Program Strengths

We believe learning occurs most effectively when residents actively participate in the educational process – for example, during frequent one-on-one exchanges between supervising faculty members and residents. In addition to our formal lecture series, outstanding educational opportunities take place during clinical rounds or through ensuing dialogues between residents and faculty members from PM&R and other specialty areas.

Upon graduation, all residents will meet the requirements for board eligibility to the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation . Since 1998, the PM&R Residency Program boasts a 100 percent pass rate for residents taking the American Board of Physical and Medical Rehabilitation examination. Our graduates have secured top fellowships in pain management, musculoskeletal medicine, spinal cord injury medicine and sports medicine at many reputable institutions.
