Thank you for your interest in the Psychiatry Residency Training Program at the University of Rochester. We select the most qualified candidates regardless of sex, race, creed, color, national origin, handicap, or age. If you require a visa, the University of Rochester sponsors J-1 visas. Our residency program considers applications from individuals who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Graduated from an LCME (U.S. or Canadian) accredited medical school
• Graduated from an international medical school within the last five years and has competitive USMLE scores
• Graduated from an international medical school and has performed a significant amount and quality of research or clinical work following medical school
