Interview InformationIf you are selected for an interview, you'll have an opportunity to visit Rochester, learn more about our department and cancer center, and meet our faculty and residents. The interview offers both of us a chance to get acquainted, and it gives you the perfect forum to ask specific questions about our program. You'll be offered a choice of dates for your interview and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. AccommodationsCandidates may choose from among several of Rochester’s finest hotels. Complimentary transportation is available to and from most hotels . If you choose to drive, free parking is provided at the medical center. Transportation to Rochester, as well as the cost of lodging are the responsibility of the applicant. Significant others are welcome. We will do our best to accommodate any particular interests, including information about career opportunities, schools, and cultural facilities. Getting HereCandidates who are invited to interview will be provided with travel information, including maps and directions that will guide you to our department. Post-Interview FeedbackWe're very interested in your thoughts about the interview experience, so please take a few minutes following your visit to complete our Interview Feedback Form. Next StepsIn mid-February, the Resident Selection Committee reviews interviewed applicants and determines the final rank order list for our program. Reviews are based upon medical school performance and/or residency experience along with personal qualities. Written comments supplement the applicant's ranking. All applicants are carefully considered without regard to age, sex, race, color, creed, sexual orientation, and national or ethnic origin.
