First Year (PGY-2 )The first year (PGY-2) of training as a urology resident is a mixture of urology and general surgery training. Seven months consists of trauma, surgical ICU, general surgery transplant, and general surgery. The remaining five months are focused on urology and related disciplines. The curriculum has been organized in order to provide focused general surgery training that will be directly applicable to subsequent urology training and to introduce the resident to the basic concepts of the discipline or urology and urologic patient care. |
