Area of Interest / Current Research

I am interested in neuroinflammation and the role it plays in the central nervous system. Specifically, I am looking at the prostaglandin pathway and how prostaglandin E2 acts on its receptors. I would like to eventually apply this study to dissecting out the neuroinflammatory role in Alzheimer's Disease.

Education

  • 2004-current : Ph.D. student, Neuroscience, University of Rochester
  • 2001-2004: B.S. in Biology, Houghton College. Chemistry minor.

Rotations

These are the labs I rotated through during my first year
