Case #08 Radiologic Findings:

  1. Endotracheal tube is seen approximately halfway between the thoracic inlet and the carina.
  2. An umbilical venous line is at the level of T6.
  3. The tip of the NG tube is seen at the top of T1.
  4. There appears to be a normal bowel gas pattern.
  5. The lungs are not hyperinflated. The patient is slightly rotated to the left, so the heart and mediastinum appear shifted to that side.
  6. The heart size is within normal limits.
  7. The patient has 12 pairs of Aab, and he has 6 lumbar vertebrae.
