Summer and year-out research opportunities are available to medical students who wish to nurture their interests and abilities in academic medicine through experiences outside the classroom. These experiences may be in clinical or basic science research. While many opportunities are available through the University of Rochester, students also receive information via e-mail on research opportunities through other institutions. Students are encouraged to combine their local or international interests with research experiences.
