In addition, students will be graded on the six-point scale grades for ALL externships taken. (Effective April 13, 2000) Electives are graded on a two-point scale (Satisfactory, Fail). Incompletes (I) - The faculty retains the option to assign grades of incomplete for students who are doing satisfactory work and who cannot complete the course requirements for compelling reasons. If the circumstances are beyond the student's control (health, an excused absence, personal emergency, etc.), after the course requirements are fulfilled, only the final grade will appear on the transcript. Satisfactory Marginal (Sm) - Students who receive grades of satisfactory marginal will be required to do remedial work (determined by the course director). Although the Sm grade will not be recorded on the official student transcript, students CANNOT be promoted until all Sm grades have been remediated. |
