Adult Partial Hospital Program (PHP)
This program offers a goal oriented treatment approach to chronic mental heath patients 18-65 years of age with a general psychiatric disorder or a dual diagnosis of mental illness and chemical abuse (MICA) diagnosis. It is located at Science Parkway. It offers a full day treatment program as an alternative to 24-hour hospitalization, provided patients are not considered a serious suicidal or homicidal risk. For hospitalized patients preparing for discharge, the PHP assists in their transition back into the community. Patients who have been hospitalized repeatedly, or who are involved in an extended treatment program, may respond favorable to a goal oriented program
