Andrea Perkins, M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Andrea received her undergraduate degree at State University of New York at Cortland in Speech and Hearing Science and her graduate degree at The University of Pittsburgh in Communication Science and Disorders. Andrea's clinical interests include patients with dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, tracheotomy/ventilator dependent patients and communication and swallowing disorders associated with head and neck cancer. Andrea primarily follows inpatients at Strong Memorial Hospital. She also assists in the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center. Andrea joined URMC in 2012.
Andrea's speech therapy certifications include Fiber Endoscopic Evaluation of the Swallow (FEES) and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT).
