Diagnosing Stuttering
A doctor, working together with a speech-language pathologist, can diagnose and manage a stuttering problem.
Diagnosis may include:
- A complete medical history
- Physical examination
- Detailed history of the development of the disorder
- Evaluation of speech and language abilities by a speech-language pathologist
