The Plan by Mission

The University of Rochester Medical Center was founded on the premise that each of its missions – research, teaching, patient care, and community health – is interrelated and serves to strengthen the others. Thus, URMC’s 2007-2012 Strategic Plan touches all of the Medical Center’s missions, laying out distinct challenges and the opportunities in the years ahead.
