Adult Nursing Services

Medical nurses utilize comprehensive nursing skills in caring for medical patients with complex, multi-system problems. Pediatric Nursing

Pediatric nursing offers challenges and rewards for those who enjoy working with children and their families at the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong. As the regional referral center for neonatal and pediatric critical care, Strong nurses care for the most acutely ill neonates and children in their state of the art Pediatric ICU and Neonatal ICU. Within a collaborative agreement (NPs) or supervisory agreement (PAs) with the MDs (internists), will provide attending team coverage for up to 10 patients with acute medical/surgical diagnosis and co-morbid psychiatric or behavioral issues from admission to discharge. Function within a team model with MDs and other NPs, to provide admission physicals, assess urgent medical issues and conduct follow up consults for adult patients on the Rwing (66 beds).
