Our Team
Jenny Speranza, M.D. is the director of the Colorectal Physiology Center. She is a colorectal fellowship trained surgeon with a special interest in treating defecatory disorders as well as inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer, and benign disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus.
Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Rochester Medical Center, she did additional specialty training in colorectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Florida while serving as an attending surgeon and faculty member.
Dr. Speranza is assisted by a nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, and a medical secretary/clinical technician who are specially trained, compassionate, and attuned to the sensitive issues surrounding these difficult problems. Read what our patients have to say about our team.
