Conditions We Treat

Problems affecting your digestive system (your colon, bowel, and rectum) cause distressing symptoms. Self-care and lifestyle change are usually the first treatment options recommended for these conditions. However, when these treatments don't work, surgery may be the only option.

The Division of Colorectal Surgery offers treatment for various types of illnesses and conditions, including:

Appendicitis

Benign Diseases of Colon

Retrorectal tumors

Colonoscopy Services – Prevention Is Key!

We can provide colonoscopy services before or during surgery. This includes rapid access to screening services with a simple referral process and a single form.

Colorectal screening is recommended for all adults beginning at age 50. A colonoscopy is a diagnostic test that allows the physician to look inside your large intestine, rectum, colon to the lower end of the small intestine. The procedure is used to look for early signs of cancer in the colon and rectum.
