Transplant & Hepatobiliary Surgery Division

The Division of Solid Organ Transplantation at the University of Rochester Medical Center has earned a reputation for providing sensitive, compassionate, world-class care from some of the best physicians and staff in the country.

We offer multi-organ transplant services to the Western New York region, including Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and the Southern Tier. We’re recognized as a United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) transplant center for:

• Liver transplantation—pediatric and adult
• Kidney transplantation
• Kidney/pancreas and pancreas transplantation

We offer Western New York's only Heart Transplant Program and we have one of the world's largest living donor liver transplantation programs. The University of Rochester Medical Center also offers living donor kidney transplantation.
