University Committee on Animal Resources

Animal Resource Tour

A tour of the facility is mandatory for all personnel working with laboratory animals. Completion of the Animal Resource Orientation is a prerequisite. If you are unsure if you have completed the Animal Resource Orientation, please call the UCAR Office at (585) 275-1693.

Facility tours for those working with MICE are given every Friday and promptly start at 11 a.m. Please report to G-6708 5 minutes early on the date and time of your tour. CVRI Tours are arranged when you have completed the required UCAR training (CITI, Blackboard).

If you are working with laboratory animals such as cats, dogs, non-human primate, rats and/or rabbits, etc., call (585) 275-2651 and ask to speak to the DLAM supervisor to schedule an alternative tour.
