INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the American Association of Poison
Control Center’s electronic continuing education program for Specialists
in Poison Information. This fourteen-day module will provide a review
of several antidotes utilized in clinical toxicology

Upon completion of this electronic continuing education module, the participant will be able to:
1. Describe the mechanism of action of the antidotes discussed.
2. Describe the pharmacokinetic characteristics of the antidotes discussed.
3. Discuss issues related to the safety of these antidotes.
4. Describe the dosage and administration
of these antidotes.
