PURPOSE:	Easy access to report any improper or unethical behavior that may jeopardize the integrity of the institution or any noncompliance with federal or state regulations. Reports of suspected violations may be made confidentially and ANONYMOUSLY, if you prefer. The Hotline is a dedicated outside line without the capability of identifying a caller's telephone number.
OPEN:	24 hours a day. Answered by Compliance Office staff from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with voice mail for after hours calls.
TELL US ABOUT:	Any concerns regarding improper or unethical activity such as violations of professional standards of practice or business ethics, breach of patient privacy or confidentiality, information system security breach, inaccurate billing, conflicts of interest or research fraud.
NOTE:	Those in our community who are hearing impaired may provide information through the New York Relay Service at 1-800-662-1220.
OTHER REPORTING PATHS:	The hotline augments other reporting channels, including an individual's supervisor, and such offices as University Audit, University Counsel, Human Resources, Security, Environmental Health and Safety, and University Intercessors.
