Bradford C. Berk Selected as University of Rochester Medical Center CEO

University of Rochester President Joel Seligman today announced that Bradford C. Berk, M.D., Ph.D., has been selected as the new Senior Vice President for Health Sciences and CEO of the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) and its patient care network, Strong Health. Berk will assume the post on August 1, 2006.
About Bradford C. Berk, M.D., Ph.D.
Bradford C. Berk, M.D., Ph.D., received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Rochester, and has served on the faculties of Harvard Medical School, Emory University, and the University of Washington. Dr. Berk is a fellow of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the Association of American Physicians. Dr. Berk is past-president of the North American Vascular Biology Organization (NAVBO).
