Contribute Support

Contribute is the software used to maintain departmental web sites across the University of Rochester Medical Center. Contribute allows users to make basic text and link changes in a WYSIWYG interface and does not require knowledge of HTML. In our training class, we cover the following topics (for more details, see our Training Reference Manual):

Browsing to, editing, and formatting pages
Importing content from Microsoft Word
Inserting and formatting tables
Creating bulleted, numbered, and definition lists
Creating links to pages on your site, external sites, email addresses, and PDFs
Inserting and modifying images
Saving, sending for review, and publishing
Creating new web pages

Web Services provides training for those who update web sites on the following domains:

Please note that while we provide training for all Contribute users, we provide support for web sites on www.urmc.rochester.edu and www.stronghealth.com only.
