HTML Elements
In general, Web Services is supporting HTML 4.01 as defined by the WC3. We discourage use of deprecated tags (such as font tags), as their support cannot be guaranteed in future versions of browsers.
In addition, we have created many styles to assist you as you format your content. You can find descriptions of both default and optional styles in our Style Guide.
Web Services advises against using underline (<u>) tags, either for emphasizing text or for making headings. To emphasize a word or phrase, use strong (<strong>) or emphasis (<em>) tags. Any headings should use heading tags (<h1>, <h2>, <h3>, <h4>) and should be used in numerical order. You can read more about using headings under our Default Styles guide.
