Dr. Peacock is Associate Professor of Surgery and Oncology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Tulane University and performed his residency in general surgery at Vanderbilt University. He performed a fellowship in surgical oncology at the National Cancer Institute. After his appointment at the University of Rochester he was awarded a clinical oncology fellowship from the American Cancer Society. Dr. Peacock's clinical expertise is in the areas of breast cancer, melanoma and gastrointestinal malignancies, including gastric, pancreatic and colorectal cancers. He also is an expert in laparoscopic applications of surgery including treatment of gallstones, hernias and staging procedures for cancer.
