John David Marquardt, M.D.

Dr. Marquardt received his medical degree from Duke University in 1976. After graduation, he completed 2 years of a general surgery residency at the University of Rochester / Strong Memorial Hospital and then completed 3 years of orthopaedic residency at the same institution. From 1981 to 1987, he practiced in Ithaca, New York as a partner in Orthopaedic Associates of Ithaca. From 1987 to 1990, he practiced in Elizabeth City, North Carolina as a partner in Albemarle Orthopaedic Associates. He returned to Rochester in 1990 and joined the faculty of the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Orthopaedics. Beginning in 2001, he joined Dr. Hubert Riegler at Lattimore Orthopaedics, P.C. Since 1983, Dr. Marquardt has been certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has been a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
