Dr. Ossip directs the Smoking Research Program, which focuses on community based interventions and underserved populations. She is principal investigator on two NIH-funded projects. Recent projects include a statewide trial of various combinations of mail and telephone interventions for mid-life and older smokers, a multi-county trial of primary care interventions for adolescent smoking, and a national survey of smoking attitudes, beliefs, and policies regarding smoking in nursing homes.
