Dr. Bronstein's medical practice includes the care of sports-related injuries as well as fractures and shoulder injuries. He has special expertise in treatment of injuries to the knee. Dr. Bronstein treats athletes and physically active patients of all ages in the Rochester, NY area. He is the primary Team Physician for the Rochester Amerks as well as the University of Rochester sports teams.

Dr. Bronstein is a graduate of both Colgate University and Johns Hopkins University. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he completed an orthopaedic surgical residency as well. Dr. Bronstein then joined University Sports Medicine, first as a Sports Medicine Fellow, then an attending physician and faculty member. Dr.Bronstein has authored nearly two dozen medical journal articles on such topic as ACL reconstruction techniques and clavicle and knee ligament injuries. He is certified as an orthopaedic surgeon by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. In 2008, he was among the first orthopaedic surgeons to obtain the ABOS Subspecialty Certification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Bronstein is currently an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at URMC.
