Richard I. Fisher, M.D. is a visionary that never loses sight of his patients. His greatest desire as Director of the Wilmot Cancer Center is to build a world-class cancer research and treatment facility that will provide advanced care and the most modern treatments for patients with cancer. With great concern and enthusiasm, he intends to ensure that patients get cutting-edge care as our cancer research program develops the treatments that will benefit patients around the world.

Dr. Fisher is an internationally known expert in biological research and treatment of lymphoma and is a nationally renowned cancer clinician, scientist and educator. His research centers on the biology and treatment of cancers derived from white blood cells. Dr. Fisher leads both national and international studies in Hodgkin's Disease and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
