Moved from Columbia, MO to Rochester, NY in August 2002. Currently Burn Director for the Strong Regional Burn Center at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Received medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI in June 1988. Is board certified in Critical Care and General Surgery.

Actively involved in burn education and prevention programs thoughout NYS. Also an instructor for ATLS, ACLS, ABLS, Acute Trauma for the US Army Special Forces, Initial Management of Thermal Injuries, and Acute Management of Traumatic Injuries. Is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Medical Corps, US Airforce Reserves and has been trained for chemical & biological war.

Has 26 abstracts published, 5 book chapters, 19 manuscripts & has done numerous international & national presentations.
