RESEARCH INTERESTS: Dr. Noyes is a Health Services Researcher with the interest in economic and quality of life assessment in chronic illness such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Noyes served as a co-investigator on the cost effectiveness and quality of life sub-studies of several projects that addressed health and economic implications of health interventions (breast-feeding education, asthma prevention, weight maintenance program at work place), medical devices (implantable cardiac defibrillators, telemedicine), and medications. Dr. Noyes is also interested in research on academic career development and medical education.
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES: Dr. Noyes is the PI on NMSS-funded study addressing cost-effectiveness of disease-modifying drugs in multiple sclerosis and a co-PI on study of quality of life in patients with implantable cardiac defibrillators funded by the device maker, Guidant Inc.
